This April has really spoiled me. My girlfriends, Candace and Angela, came for a week and we had a fabulous time with nothing but gorgeous weather and incredible food.

We managed to fit all the top spots in a short itinerary. I had to work in the afternoons but the girls managed to see everything I recommended to them for their time here.

On the weekend before Candace had to leave, the two of us took the train to Giverny, home to one of France's most famous Impressionists, Claude Monet. This is a place that has always been on my list, but never quite happened until this month. For those of you spending a week in Paris in the Spring, I highly recommend going. It's a very quick trip from the city and well worth it.

If you're ever thinking of going, I recommend buying tickets the day before online. You'll avoid the lines and wasting time.
