My First Beauty Editorial & Shooting in Studio

I love shooting outdoors because Paris has always offered me the most beautiful backdrops. Under rain or shine, I've always found places that inspire me. With the looming date of my return to Florida, I've had studio shoots on my mind. I love seeing beauty editorials and learning studio lightning has been at the top of my list for 2018. 

So for Christmas, Graham bought me studio time at Studio One in Orlando. During my Christmas break back home, I organized everything to get this editorial together. I was grateful to get to shoot with Amanda and Thalia. The concept of the shoot was a bit dark in regards to my normal aesthetics, but stretching my artistic muscle feels good. 

This set of photos was inspired by Amanda. As well as being a model, she is also a taxidermist artist working with strictly ethically sourced animals, showing beauty in those dark things many cringe at. I took that theme and pushed it into my own vision.
